Live car customizing, multi-platinum selling rnb artists and a host of fun activities.
Dubai, August 14th 2007 – West Coast Customs, the world’s most highly recognized and sought after customization company, today announced the date and line-up of its first EVER Live Show and Concert in the region. The all-star line-up will include performances by Omarion, Marques Houston, Blackstreet and Lloyd with a warm up performance by local talent A-Class. Also to be featured is a live demonstration of West Coast’s talent by customizing a car live on stage throughout the day with Ryan and Big Dane, stars of the MTV show Pimp My Ride making special guest appearances throughout the show. Gaming fanatics and graffiti artists will also get to showcase their talents or try the activities first time at the respecting Gaming Zone and Graffiti Areas. The concert will take place on Thursday November 22nd at Dubai’s Media City Amphitheatre.
West Coast Custom’s recently announced it’s move to open their first ever production center outside of the U.S right here in Dubai. Two of the WCC team members from L.A. will be permanently stationed in Dubai to work alongside the local team of experts who will be customising cars, jets, yachts and even homes. This concert, which is the first in a series of quarterly WCC Live Show and Concerts, will be the first show of its kind in the Middle East to blend the multiple aspects of the customisation community including unique cars, meeting the WCC team, custom concepts, graffiti, gaming and music into one memorable and action-packed day.
The team of customization experts shot to fame after the massive global success of MTV’s hit show “Pimp My Ride” in which the West Coast Customs team surprises an unsuspecting member of the public and drastically fixes up and customizes their cars. The show has expanded to cover different regions of the world with multi-platinum selling artists such as Xzibit, Tim Westwood and Li’l John presenting the hit series now aired on a variety of channels worldwide.
The live concert will be an all day event and will include a gaming zone to play your favourite games on your favourite consoles, a graffiti area to try your hand at the art or watch the professionals create their masterpieces, a showdown of the ‘Customization King’ competition finalists as well as the awarding of the trophy to the winner, and a musical concert with top-selling rnb artists in the evening to finish off the day.
